1. Packaging standards for green food

The concept and basic requirements of food packaging refer to the general term for containers, materials, and auxiliary materials used according to certain technologies to protect products, facilitate storage and transportation, and promote sales during food circulation. It also refers to the operational activities of applying certain technical methods in the process of using containers, materials, and auxiliary materials to achieve the above goals. The basic requirements for food packaging are:

① Long shelf life (shelf life).

② No secondary pollution caused

③ Less loss of original nutrition and flavor

④ Packaging costs should be low

⑤ Convenient and safe storage and transportation

⑥ Enhance aesthetics and stimulate appetite

⑵. Packaging standards for green food

This standard is currently being developed. China's packaging industry started relatively late, and in terms of development and environmental protection, some traditional packaging methods are not conducive to environmental protection. The entire process of packaging products from raw materials, product manufacturing, use, recycling, and disposal should comply with environmental protection requirements, including saving resources and energy, reducing and avoiding waste generation, easy recycling, recycling, biodegradability, and other specific requirements and contents. That is to say, industrialized countries around the world require packaging to adhere to the principles of "3R" and "1D" (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Degradable).

2. Green food labeling standards

Green food product packaging, in addition to the basic requirements of food packaging, should comply with the requirements of the Green Food Logo Design Standard Manual in terms of packaging decoration. The standard for green food packaging labels is currently being formulated. Prior to this, the packaging labels for green food should comply with the national General Food Labeling Standard GB-7718-94. The standard stipulates that food labels must indicate the following information:

⑴. Food name

⑵. List of Ingredients

⑶. Net content and solid content

4. Names and addresses of manufacturers and distributors

5. Date markings (production date, shelf life or/and shelf life) and storage guidelines

6. Quality level

(7) Product standard number

8. Special annotation content

3. Standard for anti-counterfeiting labels for green food

Green food anti-counterfeiting labels have a protective and monitoring effect on green food. The anti-counterfeiting label has progressiveness technology, special use, reasonable price, and various types of labels, which can meet the packaging of different products. Standard provisions:

Products that are licensed to use the green food logo must be labeled with anti-counterfeiting green food logo labels;

⑵ The anti-counterfeiting label of the green food logo can only be used on green food products with the same number. Non green food or green food products with anti-counterfeiting label numbers that do not match green food shall not use this label;

⑶. The anti-counterfeiting label of the green food logo should be prominently placed on the front of the food label or its packaging, and should not conceal the overall image of the original green label, number, and other green food;

The position of anti-counterfeiting labels affixed to the same product by the enterprise and the position of large labels used for sealing the outer packaging box should be fixed and cannot be changed arbitrarily.
